How to increase your website's traffic?

Are you looking for some ways to increase traffic to your website? This article may be helpful for you. To evaluate the traffic of a website, we usually base on its rank in some websites which provide the ranking service. Here I introduce to you three ranking websites and how to increase (exactly decrease in some webpages) your site's rank.

Minimum Google PageRank:

Google is very familiar with people who often search internet. Google ranks pages based on a voting system. When other sites link to your site, that's considered a "vote" cast in your favor. But there is an important point, links from popular, relevant websites are weighted more than links from a small and less traffic sites.

The best way to increase your PageRank score is to have other well-ranked sites link to yours. You can join many online communities and put your site's URL there. You can also submit your site's URL to relevant directories on the internet. And I think there's an effective solution you should do, that is submit your site to Google search engine and others. The number of page views is also determined by how many Google Toolbar users visit
each page in your website. So, remember to put an link to the Google Toolbar download page on your website or write an article telling your visitors how it can help us with facilities. This really works well.

Maximum Alexa Score:

Alexa ranking is the most well-known ranking service. Many organizations choose Alexa ranking to evaluate a website's traffic. Alexa's traffic rank is calculated based on the last three months of data collected from Alexa Toolbar users and from links to your site. Your score is a combination of page views and "reach". The number of page views is determined by how many Alexa Toolbar users visit each page in your website (duplicate visits from the same user on the same day are counted only once). Reach is measured by the number of Alexa users per million who visit your site.

The best way to increase (really, decrease, the 1 is the best ) your Alexa score is to let people who visit your site know about it. The more visitors you have who are using the Alexa toolbar, the better your score will be. Put up a link to the Alexa Toolbar download on your site and get more of your visitors using it and you will see a decrease in your Alexa score.

Maximum Technorati Ranking:

Technorati is a large bloggers' community. There you can find what others write on their blogs. Your Technorati Ranking is determined by the number of sites that point to your blog, relative to other blogs. In order to improve (decrease) your ranking, other bloggers and websites must link to you. You can bring attention to your blog by finding related blog entries by other bloggers and leaving comments that include a link to what you've written. This starts a sort of conversation in the blogosphere and improves your site's rank (and visibility) as more bloggers visit and link back to your site. To make a strong impression on visitors, make sure that your site's content must be worth view and visit the next times.
