Top 3 Tips For Choosing the Right Internet Company

There are many choices of internet companies, with many making claims of high hopes and getting rich quick. The tips I show you will help you save a lot of time and money when looking for the right internet company.

1. Look for a company that is a good fit for you. One that matches your personality. If it's a company that beckons you to approach friends and family and that is not in you, then pass on that opportunity. There are many legitimate internet home based businesses on line. Most are ethical and have good support. It is important to have a mentor that can show you how to effectively market online, they should have a step by step process. One that will set yourself apart and brand yourself as your own unique individual that you are. Have them share there experience in the company, and they should be a firm believer in the company. Get the mentor to show you the guide they use for future training. If you can see yourself and are comfortable with the system, then this company may be a consideration.

2. Training is important in the internet home based business. Look for companies who have ongoing weekly training, whether it is in the form of webinars, one on one phone conversations, or teleconferences. Make sure you can pick up the phone and get the answers to your questions when you need them. There should be in place, systems that allow you to access all the latest programs that will expedite you to success. Automation is important as this will save your time and energy.

3. Most good companies have a recurring compensation plan. You want to be sure you receive some type of recurring income with each new customer. Look for companies that have more high end products to sell, thus resulting in higher profits for you. Many companies have lower end products and results in lower profits, which means it will take you longer to reach your financial goals. With high end products you tend not have to as many people under you to get the financial results you're looking for.

I would highly recommend you to do, due diligence and check out various companies. This information was intended as a beginning point in getting you to think of some questions you may need to ask in getting started. Choosing the right internet company, will allow you to enjoy financial freedom.

You can’t hope to build a website having adsense placed on it and begin to wait for money coming. You have to work hard to get good income using adsense. • Target your content on a single topic: it makes your contents better and deeper

  • Submit your site to search engines : this is important, remember to do it,see how here or See if your site is indexed by Google here

  • Link exchanges can be used: this works well sometimes

  • Submit to directories : a way like link exchanges

    What is Web 2.0

    Design Patterns and Business Models for the Next Generation of Software

    When surfing the internet, I often see the term Web 2.0 and I didn’t pay any attention to it. But I see this term too much that I have to study to know what Web 2.0 is. This is brief information about Web 2.0. I hope it’s helpful for who want to know what it is.

    The phrase Web 2.0 refers to a perceived second-generation of web-based communities and hosted services — such as social-networking sites, wikis and folksonomies — which aim to facilitate collaboration and sharing between users. It became popular following the first O'Reilly Media Web 2.0 conference in 2004.

    In the opening talk of the first Web 2.0 conference, Tim O'Reilly and John Battelle summarized what they saw as key principles of Web 2.0 applications:

  • the web as a platform

  • data as the driving force

  • network effects created by an architecture of participation

  • innovation in assembly of systems and sites composed by pulling together features from distributed, independent developers (a kind of "open source" development)

  • lightweight business models enabled by content and service syndication

  • the end of the software-adoption cycle (the so-called perpetual beta)

  • software above the level of a single device, leveraging the power of the "Long Tail"

  • ease of picking-up by early adopters

  • O'Reilly gave as examples: eBay, craigslist, Wikipedia, del.icio.us, Skype, dodgeball and Adsense.

    O'Reilly formulated their sense of Web 2.0 by example:

    Web 1.0 Web 2.0
    DoubleClick --> Google AdSense
    Ofoto --> Flickr
    Akamai --> BitTorrent
    mp3.com --> Napster
    Britannica Online --> Wikipedia
    personal websites --> blogging
    evite --> upcoming.org and EVDB
    domain name speculation --> search engine optimization
    page views --> cost per click
    screen scraping --> web services
    publishing --> participation
    content management systems --> wikis
    directories (taxonomy) --> tagging ("folksonomy")
    stickiness --> syndication

    While interested parties continue to debate the definition of a Web 2.0 application, a Web 2.0 website may exhibit some basic common characteristics. These might include:

  • "Network as platform" — delivering (and allowing users to use) applications entirely through a browser. See also Web operating system.

  • Users owning the data on a site and exercising control over that data.

  • An architecture of participation that encourages users to add value to the application as they use it. This stands in sharp contrast to hierarchical access-control in applications, in which systems categorize users into roles with varying degrees of functionality.

  • A rich, interactive, user-friendly interface based on Ajax or similar frameworks.

  • Some social-networking aspects.

  • For more information about Web 2.0 you can see the What Is Web 2.0 by Tim O'Reilly.

    Learning PHP and MySQL easily with EasyPHP

    I began learning PHP two weeks ago. I love PHP because it’s a good programming language I have to use in my university and it’s free. To run a PHP program you need a PHP interpreter, a web server, the one I use is Apache. And if you work with database you can use MySQL. All of them are free.

    At the first week learning PHP, I found it difficult to configure the PHP interpreter, the Apache server and the MySQL too. It makes me crazy. Configuring three of them to make them work well together is a big problem, specially, with beginners. There are many tutorials on the internet instruct you how to configure them, but I found them difficult to understand.

    Now everything is ok. I found a program that integrates three programs to one. That’s EasyPHP. EasyPHP is a free software you can download at EasyPHP.Org. It does everything for you. You don’t need to configure anything if you don’t want. Just install them and enjoy your PHP world. It also gives you the administration section where you can do many things to manage your databases visually without using console.

    Earn money with LiveRail video advertising

    LiveRail is running their video advertising program in the Beta version. LiveRail uses a different method to show the ads. They don't use the invideo like other advertising networks,ex. Adbrite, their ads appear below the video players. And their ads are videos too.

    Every time your video is requested by a viewer, the file will be pulled from their servers along with a series of highly targeted, relevant ad-previews underneath it. At any point in the video, viewers can choose to watch an ad if they see one that interests them. When they do, their video is paused, and the ad plays. Once finished the ad closes, and their main content picks up where it left off instantly.

    LiveRail is in the beta now. They say that in the beta publishers won't earn money from their ads revenue although they are tracking ad-views and ad-revenue for videos in your account, this money is not actually "real".In this period they aren't actually charging advertisers a penny,too. LiveRail will qualify for your account for 65% revenue share (versus 50% normally) once LiveRail launches for the public and begins charging advertisers. I'm waiting to see LiveRail be in public.Click here to learn more and see the demo video

    How to Increase Your Google Adsense CTR ?

    At the begining of using Google Adsense, I want to earn some money with it. I think when people visit my blog, they will click on my Google ads and I will earn money. I used to believe that the more viewers visit my blog, the more money I can earn. I just pasted the ads code into my blog's template and waited for the huge amount of money come. Later I realized that without optimization, that's impossible. Here I will share all of the tricks to increase Google Adsense CTR that I found from my own and others' experiences.

    1. When use the ads code, you must make sure the ads that are appearing on your site are closely related with your content.If your ads are not relevant, there's small possibility that people will click on them.

    2. Blending your ads with your website themes such as background's color, links' color, text display color...People often don't click on your ads if they realize that they are going to click on an advertising link.

    3. Use best performing ads such as 336x280, 300x250 or 250x250.These wide ads often work well on many different kinds of websites.

    4. You should place your ads at the best positions on your site. Placing your Google Adsense ads at the following positions is the best choice:

  • the top position of your page that's visible without your visitor having to scroll down.

  • in the middle of an article. People tend to stop reading for a while and look for something different.

  • at the end of an article. After already read through your article, viewers often want to find more links with relative content.

  • 5. Remember to use Link Unit ads. Try to place it near your navigation menu. Viewers sometimes don't realize that they are clicking on an ad.People will misidentify it as a navigation menu and automatically read it.

    There are still many tips about this topic. I only write some most effective tips which I know here. If you have some more tips about how to Increase Google Adsense CTR, please share them with us. I hope these tips are hepful for you.

    How to play Ogg format files?

    Play Ogg, mp3, wma, mp1...

    If you often work with audio files,perhaps you 've met the Ogg audio format files. When I met them the first time,I was really confused about how to play them.I tried using many players I have but they solved nothing. And I intended to search for a Ogg player on the internet. Luckily, when I told a friend about my problem, he gave me a useful Ogg player.That's XMPlay player.

    XMPlay not only supports Ogg audio format, but also other popular formats such as: mp3, mp2, mp1, wma, wav.XMPlay's absolutely free. Its sound quality is really good. And its size's small, about 345Kb. You don't need to install it to run.When XMPlay runs, it uses less memory resource than other players. It's really a waste of memory when you run a big player just only for enjoying music. That also can slows your other running programs.That's one of the reasons why I choose XMPlay for playing Ogg files and enjoying music beside other players.

    XMPlay is a Win32 (Windows 95/98/NT/2k/ME/XP/etc...) audio player, supportingseveral formats. Initially, when XMPlay was first released in 1998, only theXM format was supported, hence the name "XMPlay".

    WMA playback requires the Windows Media Format modules to be installed. Theycome installed with Windows Media player, so will already be on most users'systems, but they can also be installed separately (WMFDIST.EXE is availableat the XMPlay website). If these modules are not installed, XMPlay will stillwork fine, just without WMA support.

    You can download XMPlay here. I hope you enjoy it.

    How to download Google Videos with original file format?

    There are many friends asked me how to download videos from Google. At first I thought it's a difficult problem. I tried using Google Video and I found that I can download Google video with a download link provided by Google. The file I'll receive has the .gvp format. This file format can be played with Google Video Player.

    But what will we do if we want to download the original video file with the .avi format or .wmv ..? The answer is using bookmarklet or JavaScript. If you want to save the original video file format without downloading Google's player, you can use a bookmarklet (JavaScript code). Make sure the link toolbar is visible in your browser. You can enable it if you go to View/Toolbars in your browser and check Bookmarks Toolbar in Firefox, Links in Internet Explorer or Personal Bar in Opera. Then drag and drop the bookmarklet:

    Download Google Video

    At this time your toolbar will look like this :

    Next time when you enjoy a video you like on Google Video, just click on the bookmarklet and save the video. Enjoy your videos!

    Should we run many blogs or only one blog to generate more adsense income?

    Using Google Adsense, you only need to register a website and then you can paste the ad code to many websites if you want. Many bloggers think running multiple blogs can generate more income. So, what 's the truth behind this? There are two ways of generating adsense income:

  • Running many blogs and receiving small earning

  • Running one good blog and generating more income
  • Many adsense beginners tend to run many blogs to generate more income. This idea may increase adsense revenue at the beginning. But later when you can't update your blogs' content with good posts it will not work any more. When you have many blogs to manage, you have to spend less time for each of them. Further, it requires more work leaving to incompletion of blogs. As a result, you feel tired and bored of blogging.

    My advice to beginners of adsense is to make a complete, excellent, content rich, attractive single blog. Whether you like to have a blog with ranking 5,000 or many blogs with ranking 3,000,000 for each. And whether you want to make many blogs that will generate $2 - $3 each per day or to make only one blog that will generate $100 per day. Now, it's time to make decision. If you have one blog, keep it up. If you have more than one blog, you should find out if each is working well or not. Then continue with best blogs and terminate the bad ones.

    Google runs TV ads

    After months of speculation, Google has officially jumped into the television business.

    The Web giant announced on Monday that it is partnering with EchoStar to sell commercials over the DISH satellite broadcaster's 125 national programming networks, an early indicator of how the Internet giant plans to use its $10.6 billion online ad business to conquer television.

    Under the EchoStar deal, advertisers will use Google's AdWords automated auction interface to bid on ad spots. Advertisers can upload their TV commercials and select the desired time of day and channel, as well as choose regional or national area coverage. They can also target the ad based on a show's demographics, such as males 18 to 34 years old, said Keval Desai, director of product management for Google TV Ads.

    We will wait to see their result in a new business field. And I think that this giant guy will succeed too, like his Google Adsense. Just because that's Google.

Just remembering the KISS "Keep It Sweet & Simple" principle, you can save as many videos on YouTube as you want.
